The Valley Of Fire is Nevada's oldest State Park and is only an hour North of Las Vegas. It's a beautiful and very large park with unusual rock formations, a wide range of colors, and numerous sites of Native American petroglyphs. You can see why it's called the Valley Of Fire from the brilliant red rocks in this picture. There are bright red rock outcroppings, hills, canyons, and mountains, as well as a rainbow of other colors throughout the park. Exploring the Valley Of Fire is my most recent example of Capturing the Beauty and Color of Nature.
